Light in the absence of eyes illuminates nothing. Visible forms are not inherant in the world, but are granted by the act of seeing. Events contain no meaning in themselves only the meaning that the mind imposes on them.

The Tories are in. Boo hoo to you Canadians.
Yeah, we're screwed but not as bad as you would think. With a minority government, a pissed off opposition and left leaning third and fourth parties, it's highly unlikely that they will be able to pull off anything radical in this term.
If they do keep a straight and moderate face though this term and win a majority in the next election, then we're really fucked.
