The US finally coughed up some dough. I am still in shock, it's really hard to come to grasps with a hundred and fifty thousand people being killed in the span of a few minutes. I think this is the worst single thing that happened in my lifetime.
For the record, Canada only shelled out $4 million so far but has unilaterally declared a debt moratorium for any country that was victim to this tragedy. Not bad but we can do much better and I hope that we do.
